The answer to this is simple, you might have noticed that if you search for something on search engines, almost a thousands more or less different results will appear but only 10 results appear on the first page. Whenever someone searches for something, the search engine checks all the websites accordingly, and if the SEO of the site is done well then it is easy for the search engines to understand what is there in that page and it shows it in SERP (search Engine Result Page).

Backlink is when the link of your website is added to another website. Backlink is also of two types: Do-Follow or No-Follow.
Bad backlinks are illegal way of putting or adding the link of our blog or website on other website to increase our website or blogs DA, PA, DR or ranking on search engines.
Out Bound Link is the link that we add on our site but it belongs to some other site. Meaning you go to some other website by clicking on it.
Keyword is the word for which we want our website or blog to be displayed on search engine for, anytime any user search for such words. Whenever someone searches for that word on Google, our site will appear on SERP.
If we are writting an article on a keyword, and the keyword that appears in the article is more then the required percentage, that is what we call keyword density. The keyword should be only 2-3%, if it is more than that then there would be a problem.
Meta Tag is an HTML code which is only for search engines. With the help of Meta Tag, we tell the search engines how to display our pages and we give them restrictions on on pages they can display. In Meta Tag, we put Meta Title, Meta Keywords, Meta Description or Robot tags.
When a visitor opens a site and then after sometime he leaves the site, that is measured by bounce rate. If someone is coming to a site and stays on the site for a long time then the bounce rate will be low. This helps in increasing the rank in search engine.
Web Directory is that website where there are links to many other websites, category wise.
This is just a text file that tells the search engine crawlers which pages of the site are to be indexed and which pages are not to be indexed on search engine.
Sitemap is a file with list containing links of all the pages and posts on a website, that file is called a sitemap. There are 2 types of sitemaps: .HTML Site Map and .XML SiteMap
HTML Site Map: If this page is in HTML then it is for the users of the website. In this the user can see the list of the complete pages of the website at one place on a single page.
XML Site Map: This is for the search engine, with it's help the search engine gets to know how many pages are there on the site and it becomes easy to index it.
The title should be of 50-68 words and the post description should be of 140-150 words, if you use more than this then it will not appear completely in the SERP.
If the search engine cannot read the image, then we have to do SEO of the image to tell the search engine what the image is of.
Remain the image in whichever warehouse or whichever image is there
reduce the size of the image
add alt description on your img tag
Whenever any post comes up in search and gets indexed, we have to submit the site map of our site.
If we post regularly, then gradually our post starts getting indexed quickly because the crawlers start coming to our site quickly.
You must submit your site map after adding your blog or website to Google Search Console, We can also get our posts indexed ourselves.
Google has released a new update, in which we can submit the URL of our post directly from the search page as well.
